While Nick Ceccarini was making his morning commute to work on the L.I.E., he heard WBLI 106.1 FM's Steve and Maria's quest to raise money for the 18th Annual Gello Jump for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at the Huntington Hilton.

WEATHERSTONE GOES TO SUPER BOWL XXXIX

On Monday, December 16^th, Weatherstone Mortgage Corp. attended the 3rd Annual John Theissen Benefit hosted by Mike Francessa of WFAN at Mulcahy's in Wantagh.  The evening was graced with many New York Jets players including Doug Brien, Jets place-kicker, creator of fundraising program Kicks for Kid’s Sake.  Weatherstone Mortgage, Waldbaums and Mulcahy’s proudly sponsor the program this season. 

The event raised over $100,000 due to generous donations from members of the community and friends of John Theissen.  The live auction ended with Mike Francessa taking the stage to auction off the grand prize; 2 tickets to the Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, Florida with roundtrip airfare and weeks stay at a Ft. Lauderdale resort.  Francessa upped the bidding adding on 2 tickets to the Commissioner’s Ball the night before the game and a 5 hour spot with plugs for your company on the Mike and the Mad Dog Show, broadcasting on WFAN and the YES Network.

After back and forth bidding, Nick Ceccarini, President of Weatherstone, bid the highest for the charity.

2004 Golf Outing

On Monday, August 30, 2004, Weatherstone Mortgage Corp. hosted their 2^nd Annual Golf Invitational at the Hamlet Golf & Country Club to benefit the John Theissen Children’s Foundation.  The turnout this year was more than expected generating more than anticipated.  The event successfully raised $15,000 for the foundation.

This Wantagh-based organization is dedicated to helping sick and underprivileged children across Long Island.  They provide hospitals, shelters and child-care agencies with new toys, televisions, school supplies, clothing and therapeutic equipment.  They also fulfill individual wish lists throughout the year in effort to make these sick and suffering children smile.  Gifts generated for the foundation are 100 percent distributed immediately to these children battling disease or hardships.

The day was overflowing with great weather, good golf, and a laugh-filled reception courtesy of The Fat Rat Bastard Jeff Pirrami.   “John Theissen said good things happen to people who do good things.  That’s my wish for all who donated.  They were extremely generous,” said Nick Ceccarini, President of Weatherstone.

Business Men Of The Year

Nicholas P. Ceccarini and Anthony N. Ceccarini were honored at the Tony Darrow Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 23, 2004. The brothers were named "Business Men of the Year" at Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, New Jersey. The tradition of Tony Darrow’s outing benefits United Cerebral Palsy of NYC.

Nicholas P, Ceccarini, President of Weatherstone Mortgage was elected as a board member to the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers (NYAMB) Board of Directors. A Black Tie Gala event was hosted by NYAMB on Friday, September 24th. The induction was held at part of weekend festivities for the NYAMB 16th  Annual Convention.
